The case over a steam boiler at Sund that has been barred from use may end in court, KVF reports. SEV is considering taking legal action against advisers involved in the project.
The Labour Inspection Authority has refused permission to use the large boiler, which is intended to handle green surplus energy, because its location poses a danger to people. It must be moved to another building, which will be built beside the Sund power station.
SEV board chair Harald Hammer has called the situation catastrophic for the company. He said there were strong indications that incorrect advice led to the boiler being placed in the wrong location.
