Police and the Danish Armed Forces’ Ammunition Clearance Service are investigating a suspicious report at Copenhagen Airport, DR reported. Authorities say there is no danger to passengers or others at the airport.
The report concerned two aircraft that had landed at the airport, the Ritzau news agency reported. Copenhagen Police said its assessment was that passengers and others at the airport had not been, and were not, in danger.
The airport is operating normally, and air traffic has not been affected. Police and the clearance service were expected to remain at the airport for a little while longer shortly before 10 a.m.
Several flights elsewhere in Europe were forced to land this week following possible threats. It is not known whether the Copenhagen Airport investigation is connected to those incidents.
