Flóttamannaleið reopens after car rollover

Flóttamannaleið, a road near Vífilsstaðavatn, has reopened after a car overturned on icy conditions, mbl.is reports.

Lárus Steindór Björnsson, a shift supervisor with the capital area fire service, said the crash happened shortly before 8 a.m. One person suffered minor injuries.

The Icelandic Road and Coastal Administration reported icy patches in several parts of the city and urged drivers to take care.
