Swedish prosecutors have charged Ildar “Scar” Galiyev over a series of violent crimes, including three murders, SVT reports.

The 26-year-old has been identified as one of the leaders of the Dalen criminal network, which has been in conflict with the Foxtrot network. He is accused of involvement in the 2023 murder near Mälarhöjden IP, an attempted murder linked to a row-house bombing in Hässelby, and the bombing in Fullerö Hage that killed a 24-year-old woman.

Galiyev is suspected of acting as an instigator in most of the cases, including the Fullerö bombing. Prosecutors say young people were used to carry out several of the crimes, which are believed to be connected to a conflict between criminal networks.

Galiyev was handed over to Sweden from Greece last year and has been held in custody while suspected of more than 20 serious offences. The cases against him have been brought together for a single trial. Other people have already been convicted for their roles in some of the attacks.

Prosecutor Thomas Bälter told SVT he was satisfied to bring charges against an alleged instigator in the Fullerö bombing. Galiyev’s lawyer, Markus Bergdahl, said his client denies all the allegations and that the defence will present its objections at the start of the trial.

Galiyev has previously been questioned about the murder of rapper Einár five years ago. SVT reported that one theory was that he had been involved, but he has never been formally notified that he was suspected or detained in that case.
