Ten apply to lead Gjaldstovan

Ten people have applied to become director of Gjaldstovan, a government office, KVF reports. Eight applicants are men and two are women.

The application deadline passed on Monday.

In August, the Ministry of Finance announced that Leif Abrahamsen would leave the post on November 1. He has served as director for at least 35 years, taking up the position in early 1991. He was on leave from 2017 to 2018.
