Fire closes Brikk bakery in Hafnarfjörður indefinitely

Brikk’s bakery at Norðurbakki in Hafnarfjörður will remain closed indefinitely after a fire broke out at the premises on Monday evening, mbl.is reports.

The fire service was called to Norðurbakki at about 6 p.m. The bakery said on Facebook that the Brikk branch there would be closed for an indefinite period, adding that customers could visit its other locations.

Brikk is a family business founded by three families in 2017. It also has branches at Kársnes and Dalvegur in Kópavogur, and at Háteigsvegur and Skeifan in Reykjavík.
