Delta Air Lines will begin daily scheduled flights between Boston Logan Airport and Keflavik Airport on April 12, 2027, mbl.is reports. The service will run until October 30, 2027.

The new route will strengthen Iceland’s connections with North America, according to the announcement. Boston is one of Delta’s key hubs for transatlantic flights, and the service will give passengers more travel options between Iceland and the United States.

Delta began flying to Iceland in 2011, with direct service between New York and Keflavik.

“We are very pleased that Delta Air Lines is adding daily flights from Boston to Keflavik,” Grétar Már Garðarsson, head of airline relations and marketing at Keflavik Airport, said in the announcement. “The Boston region is one of our most important markets in North America, and this new connection opens up even more travel opportunities for passengers to and from Iceland. The flights strengthen Iceland’s links with the United States and improve Keflavik Airport’s competitiveness as an international hub.”
