NetApp lays off all 64 employees in Iceland

NetApp has laid off all 64 employees at its Icelandic operation, mbl.is reports.

Hrönn Guðmundsdóttir, chair of NetApp Iceland’s board and managing director of its software division, said the US company had decided to close the Icelandic unit.

“This is a blow for everyone here, but when one door closes, another opens,” she said. RÚV was the first to report the layoffs.
