Police investigate suspected homicide in Kuopio

Yle reports that police are investigating a suspected homicide in the Levänen district of Kuopio, where the victim is a middle-aged local man.

Police received a report of the suspected homicide on Saturday morning.

Several people have been detained in connection with the case on suspicion of an offence. Police are investigating their involvement in the events.

The case is being investigated as manslaughter. Police said they would not provide further information at this stage.
