Computer caught fire on stove in Reykjavík neighbourhood

A computer caught fire while standing on a stove in the Hlíðahverfi neighbourhood overnight, mbl.is reports. The fire service was alerted at around 1.30am.

Stefán Kristinsson, a watch manager with the fire service in the capital area, said the fire had been extinguished before firefighters arrived. Considerable smoke had spread through the premises, which had to be ventilated.
