Coast Guard helicopter responds to Westfjords car rollover

A Coast Guard helicopter was called out after a car rollover on the Barðastrandarvegur road in the Westfjords, mbl.is reported.

The accident occurred during the 4 p.m. hour on Friday. One person was flown to Landspítali hospital for treatment.

Two helicopters were initially dispatched, but one was later turned back after it was determined that only one was needed.
