14-year-old dies in Klaksvík motorcycle crash

A 14-year-old died in a traffic accident in Klaksvík on Friday afternoon, broadcaster KVF reported.

The accident happened when a motorcycle left the road near the helicopter landing pad in Klaksvík.

Police do not yet know whether anyone else was involved or whether the teenager was riding the motorcycle. The teenager’s relatives have been notified.

Police received the report at 4.22pm. The case remains under investigation, and further details have not been released.
