Teachers at Skúlan við Løkin in Runavík welcome plans for structured artificial intelligence training, Kringvarp Føroya reports.

The training is proposed in a new AI strategy for the Faroese education sector, presented on Thursday. Skills development is one of four main measures included in the strategy.

Høgni Lamhauge and Sharon Sivertsen, who teach in the school’s upper grades, support the proposal because teachers currently have no structured AI training.

Both teachers already use AI in their teaching and lesson preparation.
