Conscripts find missing woman alive in Harjavalta forest

A 57 year old woman who had been missing for several days was found alive in a dense forest in Harjavalta, Yle reports. Police said conscripts helped save her life.
The woman had been missing since Sunday. A support unit from the Pori Brigade and its drone section found her within three hours of joining the search on Tuesday.
She was lying helpless in the woodland, and police said she was found at the last possible moment.
Southwestern Finland Police praised the conscripts’ efforts.
In practice, the exemplary actions of the conscripts saved a human life today, police said in a statement.
Dozens of volunteers had also taken part in the search in Harjavalta since Sunday.
