Seven men aged 19 to 46 from FC Copenhagen’s fan community have been convicted of a serious assault on Brøndby’s fan coordinator outside his home in Solrød last year, DR reports.

The man’s wife and 11-year-old son watched as he was beaten in a car park until he collapsed and lost consciousness.

Four of the men were sentenced to six months in prison, while two received nine-month sentences. The seventh was sentenced to one year and two months.

The longer sentence was imposed because he was also convicted of possessing cocaine with the intention of reselling it.

All the sentences are unconditional and must be served. All seven defendants had denied responsibility for the assault.
