Faroese narrators become eligible for library remuneration

Faroese narrators are now also entitled to library remuneration, Kringvarp Føroya reports. The deadline for applications is October 1.

Works published last year will be included in this year’s distribution. The Ministry of Culture has introduced new rules governing how the remuneration is allocated.

Library remuneration is a payment from the government to Faroese creators for making books, audiobooks, e-books and works of art available in Faroese libraries.

Eligible creators include writers, composers, translators, narrators, visual artists and photographers.
