Swiss prosecutors investigate bus driver after five die

Swiss prosecutors are investigating the driver of a bus that crashed in Switzerland, mbl.is reports. Five Dutch tourists died in the accident last Thursday.

Prosecutor Bruno Ulmi Stuppandi said the driver is suspected of negligent homicide and causing injuries through negligence. He has not been placed in custody.

The bus driver was among those injured on Monday. There were 45 people on board when the bus struck a guardrail, overturned and plunged down a slope.

The vehicle was owned by a Dutch travel company. All the passengers were Dutch and were on a day trip in Switzerland.
