Ebba Busch overtakes Magdalena Andersson in confidence ratings

Christian Democrat leader Ebba Busch has overtaken Social Democratic leader Magdalena Andersson at the top of voter confidence ratings, SVT reports, citing an SVT and Verian survey.

The shift can be seen as a reflection of the Social Democrats’ decline in opinion polls, while Busch’s new emphasis on consensus appears to be gaining support among voters, according to political commentator Mats Knutson.

Liberal leader Simona Mohamsson is also performing strongly during the election campaign.
