A power cut left Keiluhöllin, a bowling alley in Reykjavík, in darkness on Friday evening, mbl.is reported. The outage affected Reykjavík and Mosfellsbær shortly before 8pm.
Many people were at the venue when the power went out. Its sports bar was packed because of Liverpool’s match against Ipswich Town, while the bowling lanes had been heavily booked for a Friday evening party.
One customer was still waiting for their bowling time. Drinks were available at the bar, but there was no lighting.
“There is no bowling and nobody is watching the match. Everyone is just chatting,” the customer told mbl.is, adding that the atmosphere was good.
