Faroese company registration authority Skráseting Føroya will refer 230 companies to the Skiftirættin court for compulsory dissolution after they failed to submit their 2025 annual reports, Kringvarp Føroya reported.
The deadline for filing the reports has passed. On September 15, Skráseting Føroya will send companies that have not submitted their 2025 annual reports to the court.
Under the accounting legislation, companies whose financial year follows the calendar year must submit their annual reports by June 30 at the latest. As of Wednesday, Skráseting Føroya had received no 2025 report from the 230 companies.
