Rescue boats tow three vessels after breakdowns

Rescue boats were called out three times on Wednesday to tow vessels after both Brimil and Tjaldrið were unavailable, KVF reported.

Shortly before noon, Rescue Lív went to a boat that had stopped near Velbastaður. The boat was towed to the harbour.

In the afternoon, East Rescue went to a vessel that had broken down to the east and towed it to the harbour.

Rescue Sverri towed a third boat to Miðvágur. The vessel was to the west when its engine stopped.
