Prime minister defends choice of reform committee chairman

Kringvarp Føroya reports that Prime Minister Beinir Johannesen has appointed Finn Danberg as chairman of the Reform Committee, despite Danberg’s past as chief financial officer of Eik Bank when the bank collapsed in 2010.

Johannesen said Danberg’s wide-ranging experience and education made him well qualified to lead the committee.
