System migration takes government website offline

The Government’s website, including the websites of all ministries, is currently offline, mbl.is reported. The outage was caused by problems during a change of web content management system.

The Government began the change on Tuesday, when a temporary problem arose and was resolved shortly afterwards. Another problem occurred on Wednesday, and Advania, which manages the Government’s systems, is working to restore the service.

The change affects the back end of the system, so no changes to the website’s appearance are expected.
