Kaskinen city manager faces reprimand over alleged misconduct

Kaskinen City Executive Board is due to decide on a reprimand for city manager Markku Lumio over alleged inappropriate conduct, Yle reports.

Board chair Jan Anders Lundenius has proposed that Lumio be spoken to and reprimanded to correct his conduct and require him to change his actions.

The board postponed the matter from Monday to an extraordinary meeting on Tuesday because it did not have enough time to review an external investigation, according to deputy chair Juhani Holm.

Holm believes the board will vote on whether it still has confidence in the city manager.

Three women have described Lumio’s conduct as inappropriate. Lumio has denied the allegations.
