NAMMCO seeks secretary general to oversee North Atlantic whales and seals

KVF reports that the North Atlantic Marine Mammal Commission, NAMMCO, is seeking a secretary general to start on April 1, 2027.
The position is for a fixed four-year term, with the possibility of an extension. The application deadline is September 27, 2026.
NAMMCO manages marine mammals in the North Atlantic and has its office in Tromsø. Its members are the Faroe Islands, Greenland, Iceland and Norway.
The commission provides its member countries with scientific advice on the sustainable management of whales and seals.
