Reykjanesbraut to close northbound for overnight paving

Reykjanesbraut will close northbound between Arnarnesvegur and Breiðholtsbraut for paving on Wednesday evening, mbl.is reports. The work is scheduled from 8pm until 7am on August 27, weather permitting.

Paving is also planned southbound between Arnarnesvegur and Vífilsstaðavegur during the same hours.

Miklabraut will be milled westbound from 8pm to 11.30pm on Wednesday. The road will be closed during the work, and traffic will be diverted onto the loop at Sæbraut and Reykjanesbraut.

Road users are asked to follow signs and speed limits and to exercise caution near the work zones. Workers and equipment will be operating very close to traffic lanes, according to the notice.
