Traffic delays expected at Miklabraut and Grensásvegur junction

Traffic delays are expected at the junction of Miklabraut and Grensásvegur in Reykjavík as work is carried out on pedestrian crossings, mbl.is reports. The work is scheduled to continue until the end of September.

The right-turn lane from Miklabraut onto Grensásvegur will close today and remain closed for the next seven days.

Other access and exit lanes may also be blocked during the project, depending on its progress. The police are asking motorists to follow signs and drive carefully.

The project is divided into four phases, with one lane expected to close at a time.
