Decision on Vesturvarði cycle path delayed until September

The Supreme Conservation Board has not reached a final decision on the proposed cycle path by Vesturvarði, KVF reported.

At its latest meeting, the board decided to circulate an August 16 letter from the cycling and triathlon federation for consultation. The consultation deadline is September 1.

The board will meet again on September 14, when the proposed cycle path is on the agenda. A decision is therefore not expected before mid-September.
