Police prepare to detonate suspected homemade bomb at Mustasaari school

Police are investigating a suspected homemade bomb found in the yard of Veikkaala’s old school in Mustasaari, Yle reports.

A passer-by found the object. Vasabladet was the first to report the discovery.

Police are at the scene, and experts plan to detonate the object by 2 p.m.

The old school building now houses a daycare centre. Authorities do not consider the situation dangerous to outsiders.
