Fire engulfs old school in Imatra as harmful smoke spreads

A fire is burning in an old school building in Mansikkala, Imatra, and harmful smoke is spreading through the air, Yle reports.

A reporter at the scene said the building is the old Linnala school.

Authorities have issued an emergency warning for the area. People are advised to stay indoors, close ventilation systems and wait for an announcement that the danger has passed. They are also urged to avoid travelling in the area.
