Student calls for AI use in schools—without cheating
A Danish high school student is advocating for broader acceptance of artificial intelligence in education, arguing it should be used as a tool rather than dismissed as a form of cheating.
Jakob Sanderhoff, a gymnasium student, regularly uses AI to assist with homework and exam preparation but insists he never lets it complete the work for him, according to a report by DR. Instead, he employs it as a tutor, to review course material, or to practice presentations.
Sanderhoff urges more schools to recognize AI’s potential rather than automatically labeling it as dishonest.
