Wille Rydman rated Finland’s worst-performing minister in poll

Finance Minister Wille Rydman is seen by Finns as the government’s worst-performing minister, according to a Helsingin Sanomat-commissioned survey by Verian.

Sixty-five per cent of respondents rated Rydman’s performance as poor. The poll sampled 1,023 people aged 18 and over, excluding residents of the Åland Islands.

Finance Minister Riikka Purra also faced criticism, with 61 per cent of Finns saying she had done a poor job.

A Yle opinion poll published this week showed the Finns Party overtaking the Centre Party to become the third most popular party.
