Midsummer bonfire debate turns to modern frustrations

Danish public broadcaster DR asked its audience what should be burned on this year’s St. John’s Eve bonfires instead of the traditional witch effigy.

Respondents suggested modern annoyances and daily frustrations as more deserving targets for the flames.
