Rain and wind to sweep across Finland this weekend

Finland is bracing for unstable weather this weekend, with rain expected across nearly the entire country today, the Finnish Meteorological Institute reports.

Strong winds will also affect most regions, prompting wind warnings for central, eastern, and northern areas. A duty meteorologist said conditions should calm by evening, with some parts of the country seeing clear skies.

A new low-pressure system will arrive on Saturday, bringing another wave of rain primarily to southern and central Finland. Sunday will see rain and wind return across almost the entire country.
