Breiðholt kiosk camera showed only its parking lot

A surveillance camera at a kiosk in Breiðholt showed only its parking lot and provided no useful footage for the investigation into a homicide nearby over the weekend, mbl.is reports.

Police in the Capital Area examined the camera at the Hraunberg kiosk on Sunday to see whether it had recorded images related to the killing. The kiosk’s owner said it had not: the camera faced the parking lot beside the building, not the place where the events occurred.

Flowers and candles were laid at Hraunberg on Sunday.
