Copenhagen Police have detained multiple individuals, including two 18-year-old women and a 14-year-old, in connection with a shooting in the Bispeparken area of the city’s Nordvest district, DR reports.

The incident involved at least 11 shots fired at an apartment door on the night of 8 June. No one was injured, though at least one bullet penetrated the door.

According to charges, the two women allegedly facilitated an attempted murder by providing an AK47 assault rifle to a 17-year-old boy, who fired the shots. Police suspect the weapon was passed through a 14-year-old Swedish citizen acting as an intermediary.

The 17-year-old shooter was arrested shortly after the incident and admitted in court on Tuesday to firing the weapon, though he denied intent to kill.

In a separate case, police arrested another 17-year-old Danish boy found in possession of two pistols and two hand grenades. He is charged with illegal weapons possession and attempted murder at an undisclosed location. Authorities are seeking his pre-trial detention.

The two women hold Ukrainian and Turkish citizenship, respectively. Police have not disclosed their response to the charges.

Additional arrests in both cases remain possible, as investigators believe other suspects may still be at large.
