Denmark’s National Board of Health has rolled out a new campaign targeting 13- to 20-year-olds to highlight the dangers of opioid use, public broadcaster DR reports.

The initiative follows recent figures showing hospital admissions for opioid poisoning among 15- to 24-year-olds have more than doubled over the past five years. Staff at Gug School in Aalborg welcomed the campaign, calling its message a necessary step to raise awareness.
