Oma Säästöpankki has applied to declare two property investment firms with ties to Raimo Sarajärvi, the majority owner of Finnish football club SJK Seinäjoki, bankrupt over unpaid debts totalling nearly €32 million, Yle reports.
The bank is seeking the liquidation of Fisyr Oy (formerly Fincap) and Casyr Oy (formerly Gapcon), both previously connected to Sarajärvi, who served as a key figure and co-owner in the companies. Fisyr owes Oma Säästöpankki approximately €19 million, while Casyr’s debt stands at €13 million.
A representative for the firms acknowledged efforts to restructure debts but cited an “exceptionally challenging operating environment.” The bank has classified the claims as undisputed and overdue.
Recent filings show Fisyr—previously Fincap—lost its share capital in April 2025, indicating liabilities exceeded assets. Both firms underwent name changes in late 2024 and 2025, with Fisyr’s board now listing Janne Kotamäki, a former Fincap co-owner, as its sole member. Sarajärvi no longer holds board positions in either company.
Oma Säästöpankki declined to comment. Sarajärvi was unavailable for contact.
