Man arrested following attempted vehicular assault at shopping center in Älähärmä, Finland

On Monday evening at 8 PM, emergency services received multiple reports of an altercation in the parking lot of a shopping center in Älähärmä, Kauhava, located in South Ostrobothnia. A man attempted to run over another individual following a dispute, but the intended victim managed to evade the vehicle. Afterward, the suspect intentionally collided with a car and a shopping center door before fleeing the scene.

Police apprehended the man later that evening. It was determined that he did not possess a valid driver’s license. He is currently facing serious charges, including attempted aggravated assault, gross endangerment of traffic safety, and driving under the influence.
