Denmark-Ukraine friendly abandoned mid-match

Denmark’s international football friendly against Ukraine in Odense was halted on Sunday evening, state broadcaster DR reported.

The match, the Danish men’s team’s final fixture before the summer break, kicked off at 18:30 local time at Odense Stadium. Both nations failed to qualify for the upcoming World Cup, which begins on Thursday.
