Police in the Faroe Islands received four reports of unlicensed tour guides on Monday evening, bringing the total number of such cases to a notable rise in recent weeks, public broadcaster KVF reports.

Authorities confirmed the reports are now under investigation. Police have noted a growing number of unlicensed guides operating in the islands, emphasizing that permits issued in other Nordic countries do not extend to the Faroes.
