Spursmál to question Jón Gnarr about leaving Viðreisn group
Jón Gnarr will be questioned about what happened behind the scenes in Viðreisn’s parliamentary group before he left it, mbl.is reports. The interview will feature on Friday’s episode of Spursmál, which will be available to everyone in the player below and starts at 2pm.
The programme will also interview two deputy leaders, Snorri Mársson of the Centre Party and Guðmundur Ari Sigurjónsson of the Social Democratic Alliance. They will discuss the political situation, Protocol 35 and the government’s balanced-budget plans, which many believe will not result in a balanced budget.
Former MP and minister Björt Ólafsdóttir and Hermann Nökkvi Gunnarsson, an aide to Reykjanesbær Mayor Vilhjálmur Árnason, will review the week’s news, including a search at the company Ölgerðin and a proposed rent cap.
Economist Ragnar Sigurður Kristjánsson of Viðskiptaráð and Páll Ásgrímsson, chief lawyer at media company Sýn, will discuss the media market and planned changes to the legal framework for Ríkisútvarpið, Iceland’s national broadcaster.
