A Danish court has sentenced six members of a vigilante group calling itself Pedo Hunting Denmark to prison terms for carrying out a series of violent assaults, the Glostrup District Court announced Wednesday.

The group’s 22-year-old leader, previously convicted of violence, received a five-and-a-half-year sentence for orchestrating and participating in attacks described by the court as involving “severe and degrading violence.” A 19-year-old woman, who acted as a decoy to lure victims to isolated locations, was sentenced to three and a half years.

Three other defendants were each handed three-year terms, while a sixth, charged with involvement in a single assault, received a four-month sentence.

Between June 2024 and June 2025, the group arranged at least ten attacks in Albertslund, Vallensbæk, Brøndby Strand, and Amager Fælled. Victims were drawn to remote meeting spots via dating apps, then ambushed, beaten, and humiliated—with footage of the assaults later shared on social media.
