A Faroese court will decide Tuesday whether to close the case against a Scottish tour guide accused of working without a permit, public broadcaster KVF reports.
The man, detained since last Thursday, was one of two foreign guides stopped after arriving in Kalsoy with an American tour group. A French woman arrested in the same operation was released last year after prosecutors dropped charges against her.
Prosecutors have proposed a fine for the Scottish guide, though police have not disclosed the amount. The defence and prosecution are now attempting to resolve the case before trial.
