Rainfall decreases in southern parts of Norway as low-pressure system lingers
Rainfall has decreased in the southern part of the country since late yesterday afternoon into the night. The low-pressure system that caused yesterday’s weather is currently located just southwest of the country and is expected to intermittently maintain rainfall in the south today. Meanwhile, other regions are likely to experience clearer skies as the day progresses, with the possibility of sunshine, although some scattered showers may still occur. Winds will generally decrease in intensity by the afternoon. Temperatures will range from 10 to 19 degrees Celsius, with the warmest conditions expected in the northeast.
Looking ahead to tomorrow, expect a westerly or variable wind at speeds of 3 to 8 m/s. Light precipitation is forecasted for many areas, with temperatures between 8 and 13 degrees Celsius. Conversely, the southeastern part of the country will remain dry and bright, with temperatures reaching up to 18 degrees Celsius. A strengthening southerly wind is anticipated in the western regions by tomorrow evening.
