Robots take over Odense streets serving beer, dancing, and cleaning

Robots have been spotted across Odense serving cold drinks, dancing, and sweeping public squares as part of a new initiative to showcase the city’s growing robotics industry, reports Danish broadcaster DR.

The Week of Robotics event, organised by Odense Robotics, the Danish Robotics Industry Association (DIRA), and the Technological Institute, brings together international and Danish robotics experts, policymakers, businesses, and researchers for a multi-day programme.

Residents encountered robots performing tasks ranging from pouring drinks to demonstrating dance moves and cleaning outdoor areas. The event aims to highlight Odense’s position as a hub for robotics innovation.
