A rescue operation is currently underway at the popular Kuusijärvi swimming beach in Vantaa. The Central Uusimaa Rescue Service has not provided any additional information beyond confirming that the operation is in progress. Efforts to reach the Eastern Uusimaa Police for comments have been unsuccessful so far. According to reports from Helsingin Sanomat, two children have been resuscitated at the swimming area, based on eyewitness accounts.
