Finland’s defence logistics agency joins Ukraine-led military procurement coalition
Finland’s Defence Forces Logistics Centre has signed on to a Ukraine-initiated cooperation framework for joint defence procurement, the Finnish Defence Forces announced on Tuesday.
The Coalition for Resilient Procurement and Unified Support (Corpus), established in April at Ukraine’s proposal, now includes Finland alongside the UK, Italy, Norway, Sweden, and Denmark. The agreement aims to enable member states to share expertise in defence materiel acquisitions.
Major General Tero Ylitalo, director of the Defence Forces Logistics Centre, formalised Finland’s participation by signing the founding document on 30 April in Kyiv.
The Corpus framework is designed to streamline collaborative procurement processes and strengthen support for Ukraine’s defence capabilities.
