Pihlajalinna cuts 139 jobs in North Pirkanmaa after restructuring talks
The private healthcare provider Pihlajalinna has concluded restructuring negotiations in North Pirkanmaa, resulting in the termination of 139 positions—fewer than the 180 initially announced, according to a company statement.
The changes are part of efforts to standardise operations in the region’s outsourced social and healthcare services. The company estimates that 61 new roles will be created, with priority given to employees currently facing redundancy.
Further updates on the restructuring process are expected.
