Traffic accident claims life on Ähtärintie in Alavus, Finland

A serious traffic accident occurred on Ähtärintie in Alavus last night, resulting in the death of the driver of a passenger car following a head-on collision with a truck. The driver died immediately at the scene of the accident. The impact led to the truck catching fire and being completely destroyed. Fortunately, the truck driver did not suffer any serious injuries, although he was taken to the hospital for checks due to his shock from the incident.
